Need Help finding a forever safe home for my 3 yr old Wilbur

Soooo, I never thought I’d be writing this, but my Wilbur needs a new home.

My step son is an intellectually challenged, young adult with occasional anger outbursts.  Recently, he has tried to harm our Wilbur and my step son’s current condition does not warrant having him leaving our home.

I got Wilbur when he was 8 weeks old, he turned 3 years old on July 4th and weighs about 225 lbs.  He’s stubborn and sweet and needs loving attention.  My (now) Ex, has left the home and I work 5 days a week.  Wilbur is a house pig, as I am not zoned to have a pig in my town and of course I was uneducated on all the piggy rules there were.  So, he does not have an outside pen to stay in.  He is potty trained and will go to the back door to go out on the deck to do his thing…. If there’s inclement weather, he will go on a large potty pad.

I love him dearly and have not been able to keep him groomed and fed properly, he is currently fat blind (while I’m away from the house, my ex and stepson fed him people food constantly).   He is spayed, and I did have a vet come out earlier in the year to do hoof and tusk trimming. He’s had vaccinations (rabies and erysipelas).  He is due for updated shots and is in terrible need of a hoof trim.

I must find him a LOVING home as soon as possible.  Please contact me and let me know if you have any leads or can transport him to a FOREVER home.  I am a failed piggy mom and I’m devastated that he is now one of the statistics for rehomed pigs.  I am also willing to give a nominal monthly donation to help with his care.

Thank you for your help, trusting that God will get him to the right home.
